SCREW MACHINE OPERATOR / SET-UP PERSON (Hampton, NH)

SUMMARY
QA Technology Company is searching for a conscientious individual dedicated towards perfecting their skills, in the machining trade, through the operation and set-up of Swiss Screw machines.

QA is a NH based manufacturer of In-Circuit Test Probes (www.qatech.com). We manufacture many of the components that go into our products at our Hampton facility. We need an Operator, capable of performing job set-ups, for close tolerance work in our Screw machine department. This individual will also prepare tooling and aid in the maintenance of the equipment.

Multiple years of CNC experience is desirable, but not required. Three or more years of experience on precision grinding/turning machines is a plus. The candidate must have a minimum of three years’ experience with CNC turning of parts with tight tolerances (.0001”) and experience using precision measurement tools (i.e. calipers, mics, toolmaker's microscope, gage blocks/pins, comparator, etc.).

The candidate must have the ability to interpret Engineering drawings in addition to having good mathematics skills.

Other related duties may apply. Job hours ideally include a combination of 3 weekdays (2nd shift - 3:00 to 11:30 pm) and weekend afternoons/evenings to accumulate 40 hours. Hours are negotiable around the need to keep machines running "around the clock".
